You may have heard of the plethora of health benefits offered by companies – health insurance, accidental life insurance, paid wellness programs, free yoga and meditation classes, etc. Publicis Sapient offers similar benefits to its employees. While most companies offer these benefits due to compliance protocols and government regulations (yup, that’s the thing). So, if you’re reading company reviews, keep this in mind. Publicis Sapient goes beyond this.

During the pandemic, while our countrymen were under great distress – due to lack of oxygen cylinders, shortage of medicines, and other medical supplies, the company took supportive steps to help employees in the unforeseen circumstances.


Here are a few COVID benefits the company offered to support employees and their family:

1.      COVID Medical Insurance

In addition to the regular health insurance the company offers, it offered employees COVID health insurance. Given the inflating prices of medicines and rising hospitalization costs during the second wave of COVID, it was helpful to a lot of employees. It was especially helpful for employees who were at high risk of getting COVID due to their relatives being sick or someone around them. 2.       Fortnightly Pay

      Unfortunately, many employees were infected during the second wave, which came with unprecedented expenses (inflated cost of medicines and hospital bills). Unlike other companies where employees were furloughed or completely let go off, Publicis Sapient went an extra mile and credited salaries in two parts, fortnightly. This took load off the employees who incurred high medical expenses.

3.       Extended Sick Leaves

      Most employers offer a limited number of sick leaves, which once expired, can’t be redeemed. If you exhaust your sick leaves, you’re expected to pay (normally deducted from your salary). However, there’s no provision for extended sick leaves in case of unprecedented cases of being sick due to a pandemic. Publicis Sapient offered employees to take up to 8 days off if they are infected due to COVID.

4.       Vaccination

      Registering for COVID vaccine was a pain, which led many to opt for paid vaccination. Publicis Sapient arranged a vaccination drive at office for employees who were struggling to get a vaccine. Convenient and peaceful.
