What “Free at 3” Tells About Publicis Sapient Bangalore Work Culture? A Publicis Sapient Company Review
Have you heard the news yet?
Publicis Sapient has announced a new “Free at
3” every Friday for its people in October. Hence, all employees are encouraged
to finish their tasks by 3pm on Fridays and spend the rest of the day as they
wish. This initiative gives some free time for employees while leaving a
positive impact on people. This news has been covered in reputed websites like
The Economic Times and HR Katha recently.
Why is this
something to celebrate for us?
The above initiative highlights a significant
aspect of Publicis Sapient Bangalore work culture that it cares for its
employees. What people endure and their needs outside the workplace matter for
the organization.
Since the second wave of COVID in India, Publicis Sapient has taken many such initiatives, especially in the mental health
space.
- To generate awareness and provide ground-level support.
- To equip people with mental health playbooks and provide anonymous helpline support to employees.
Could I follow this
initiative?
While it was a bit difficult to finish all
tasks before 3pm and take a day off, the nature of work got lighter after 3pm.
My manager had encouraged me to conclude all meetings before 3pm on Friday. So,
even though I was working after 3pm, it was about completing tasks and
organizing the coming week’s activities.
Overall, I am happy that Publicis Sapient is
taking these initiatives, where I hear weekly about mental health. It triggers
my subconscious mind to take a break. There are many more such initiatives the company has taken to support employees with their mental health. You can read about them in Publicis
