Nowadays many women are returning to the workplace after a career break. Many organizations have made this process smooth with the help of special programs for this purpose. So, what do these programs say about the work culture of an organization? What does this program say about Publicis Sapient Bangalore work culture? How easy it is for women to restart their careers? Do they get other support as well?
Well, yes! Publicis Sapient has a mature process to support women from the first interview process to after-joining support. I had the pleasure to interact with some of the women who joined through this program, and I feel proud of their journey and the support provided by PS.
Interview Process for Women Returnees in PS
From what I understood, the interview process for women returnees is simpler than the interview process for regular employees. Interviewers and management know that some of these women may not be on top of their A-game yet. Many of my colleagues did training and certifications after joining Publicis Sapient. Also, you are not interviewing for a job description, but the job description is tailor-made to suit your skills in this campaign.
Support Provided After Joining PS
Women returnees get the support in the form of buddies and mentors in their field who support their career growth. There is also support from the People Success team, which regularly assesses their specific needs and support required.
I remember reading old Sapient Consulting Bangalore reviews that the Spring program for women returnees around 2017-18 gave opportunities to women returnees. However, this time it seems to be a year-long campaign that started in November, 2020 and will continue till 2021-end.
So, people, if you know any techie women who are on break, ask them to reach out to Shilpa Singh, Senior HR in Publicis Sapient, who will process your resume.
