Ever since COVID started, my life has been disturbed in ways I’d never imagined before. Now I have to take care of kid’s schooling, housework and my job. Since I was going through a rigorous schedule for over a year, it had started taking a toll on my mental health. Besides that, I was down with COVID fever and hospitalized for a week for COVID-induced pneumonia as well in April, 2021. Post-COVID, I was experiencing insomnia and my eyes ache quite often.
At this time, I was looking for professional help to reduce
some of my stress and cope with the situation better. That help came in the way
of Mental Wellbeing Ambassadors (MWAs) by PS India.
In this Publicis Sapient Bangalore feedback, I am telling how MWA helped me in this situation. I had a session with Roma Sachdev (my chosen MWA) two days back regarding the same.
Roma started the conversation casually, enquired about my
family situation and the problems I am facing. For every solution, she gave
some real-life examples which were impactful and memorable.
I especially liked her idea of deep breaths and 15 minutes
power nap during the day to rejuvenate the mind and body. I intend to follow
her advice and make some changes in daily routine to take out some alone time
as well.
Already after opening up with Roma, I feel lighthearted and
have more energy than before.
So, if you have any issue and wondering whom to approach,
try approaching the Mental Wellbeing Ambassadors of PS India. To know more
